Apple Internet TV May Not Arrive Until 2013
The Apple TV that has been rumored to be coming in 2012 may not arrive until 2013 according to even newer rumors. A Venturebeat article from Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster says that insider information from several sources, which include Apple component suppliers which now predict an Apple TV released end of 2012 or early 2013.
Apple smart TV but dont hold your breath waiting
Munster made the original claim back in March 2010, where he claimed an Apple TV would be available within a couple of years. But he has added a little extra time to his prediction, saying, “I think the probability is almost zero that it will be this year (2012).”
His latest prediction is for late 2012 or early 2013, at a time when the connected TV market will have matured and be ready to exploit. It is well known by many that Apple are heavily investing in new components and manufacturing bases, but observers are just not so sure for what.
After the recent resignation of poorly Apple CEO Steve Jobs, many predict a drop in fortune for the world’s biggest brand. But many think that Apple are keen to explore new markets and TV production is pretty new for them.
An Apple television would be expected to be manufactured by a large electronics company, who then put in an Apple TV, preload iTunes and add iCloud support. Although it would be an exciting thought, nobody is confirming that any new TV would be touchscreen operated.
The only problem is that connected TV is already well established and can only be even better by the end of 2012-2013. Apple are known for slick revolutionary products, but they would really need to push the boat out to wow us all by then.

I have an iPhone 4S, an iPad, Apple TV box and a Mac…With this setup i can easily watch movies from my iTunes on my big screen TV, so why would i want an Apple connected TV??
Even though that is the logical thing to say, Apple products are so cool that i have to say. Please Apple hurry and bring out a TV for me to buy.
Because it will be an all-in-one solution. Imagine not having to plug in your Apple TV, not having to buy a HDMI cable. Everyone wants a single TV that will do everything without additional boxes and wires hanging out all over the place.
