More Android Handsets Get Hulu Plus

The Hulu Plus subscription streaming service finally came to Android phones last month. Problem was that it only ran on 6 handsets. But now the service is available on four more smartphones running on android OS.

Hulu Plus on more Androids

Now lucky owners of the HTC Evo 4G, ThunderBolt, MyTouch 4G, and G2 can also stream away on their small screen. This makes the total number now 10 Android devices.

Hulu Plus already runs on Apple phones and could also run on Android sets, Nexus One, Nexus S, and Motorola Atrix. The service also runs on a variety of hardware including PlayStation 3, XBox 360, connected TV and set-top boxes. Hulu Plus is available for $7.99 monthly, which now puts it on a par with the new Netflix streaming price.

Hulu are currently looking for a new owner, with heavyweights such as Yahoo and Google declaring an interest. And the more devices Hulu Plus runs on, the more attractive it may be to these potential buyers.
