4oD Streaming Comes To Sky On-Demand Service


It’s becoming a busy day for catch-up TV services. Just as CBS launch an iOS app for US viewers, the Brits get to watch channel 4 streaming as the 4oD catchup service launches on Sky On Demand.

From Monday Sky subscribers can access the Channel 4 video-on-demand service 4oD from the Sky On Demand service located from the Sky HD+ set-top box. The service now has all the major UK broadcasters alongside 4oD they also have the BBC iPlayer, ITV Player and Five On Demand.

As well as The Channel 4, also available is content from E4 and More 4 as well as archived content.Sky has also promised it’s 4.5 million HD customers that more related content from More4 HD and Film4 HD will be available by September this year.

The Sky On Demand service was introduced last year, offering on-demand content from Sky channels via streaming, as well as UK catch-up television.

The move further integrates Channel 4 with Sky as it also is the only terrestrial to be available on the streaming Sky GO service. offering live streaming of both Channel 4 and More 4.
